TIPS FOR COMPLEXES WHERE THERE IS NO SECURITY
· Establish neighborhood watch, know your neighbor, their gardener and domestic workers.
· Do not convey any information about your whereabouts to your employees.
· Make use of one garden service.

· Always make sure that you obtain the identity document of your gardener and domestic worker before you employ them.
· Make sure that the security gate is closed before you leave as an intruder can get in unnoticed while the gate is closing.

INCREASE THE CHANCE OF RECOVERING YOUR PROPERTY

If it’s worth taking its worth marking

Three ways of Marking:
· Engraving
· UV Marking
· Punching

Make a list of all your valuables by make, model and serial numbers

TIPS ON HOW TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BEING HIJACKED
· Always check your rearview mirror to ensure no one is following you
· When returning home late make sure that someone knows what time you are coming back so that they can meet you at the gate
· Always make sure that the outside light is on and that your drive way is well lit after dark
· Get to know your neighbors so that you can identify strangers in your vicinity
· Be cautious and observe your surroundings at all times

· Familiarize yourself with your environment
